For for the 1000 kiriban. Sorry for the several months of delay
Haven't drawn any of these critters in quite a while. Too bad this one was too big for my sketchbook pages. My scanner ruined it too. T,T One of these days... when I finally have time for a job... I'm getting a better scanner than the one I currently have.
It's not Vera. Veralyn was getting on my nerves It's hard for me to create a purely cg picture on the comp with a mouse...
Done with 100% graphite... nothing else save for an eraser
Now onto drawing Dalthian for
5 faves and one comment of 'thats cool' on such a pic as this? Gah!
Geez, this is just...exquisite o.o I simply love the sort of semi-sketchiness of this and the way mister/missus dragon here comes into the pic from the bottom with a hint of wing and his/her neck stretching from the top right The main thing I love though is the eye...just one look at it and I get such an impression of what a wise and strong fellow this is, which is what people should get when they look at a dragon pic or think of them
Great work, keep it up and take care of yourself now I'm off for a peek through your gallery if you don't mind
Wow... and here I thought "my scanner killed it" Thanks for the wonderful comment. I've always thought that dragons were the best mythological creatures that ever existed (if that even makes sense) so I've always pictured them as extremely intelligent so thus the pic.
Scanners can often be like that...you just gotta teach 'em who's boss and learn to poke them in the right spot, and they'll play nice No problem at all, you're very welcome I've always thought the very same too, nice to see someone else thinks the same
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
